She is recognized as a Board Certified and Licensed Acupuncturist by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She received her Masters of Science degree in Acupuncture and Herbology from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. Christine's professional background includes rehabilitative therapy, sports medicine, and corporate health and fitness. Her specialty treatments at I`ao Acupuncture and Spa include traditional Japanese style acupuncture, the Kicking Butts smoking cessation program, Herbal Acu- Facial Rejuvenation treatments, and sports medicine.

studied Thai Massage at The Old Medicine Hospital and with Master Pichette Boonthome in Chaing Mai, Thailand. She has enjoyed this practice for 6 years, bringing a sensitive awareness cultivated through years of Ballet (18), Yoga (10), and Hula (2); as well as teaching Yoga (8) and Ballet (5).
